Welcome to the TLC Mom’s Group of Northeast Assembly. In our case, TLC stands for, Together Loving
Our Children, which is what we strive to do in our community of mothers. Most of us have children under
the age of 11, and some are currently in utero!
Our purpose is to provide a place where mothers of young children can come together to share in the joys and difficulties of this precious stage of life.
The theme verse for our group is Ecclesiastes 4:12:
"A person standing alone can be attacked and defeated, but two can stand back-to-back and conquer. Three are even better, for a triple-braided cord is not easily broken."
Our intent is to be real and honest with each other as we walk through life together. So, when we get together, we try to BRAID (Be Real And Intentionally Deep).
We meet together at 6:30 p.m. the second Monday night of every month at the church's Common Grounds Cafe. Childcare is provided too, for a donation of $3 per child. We also have monthly outings during the daytime for moms and their preschool-aged children. And, every few months, we try to have a Mom’s Night Out on the town. For more information, contact Heather.
